Here’s that solo breakthrough and three more charting LPs through ’79, all remastered and featuring new notes. Keyboard-powered pop delights abound: his smashes "Dream Weaver" and "Love Is Alive" and hits "Made to Love You," "Phantom Writer," "Touch and Gone.

Touch and Gone failed to achieve commercial success. According to Wright, his manager, Dee Anthony, told him that Warner Bros. were disappointed by the album and considered that none of its songs had hit potential. Having started a U.S. tour in late to promote the release, Wright was forced to cancel it due to poor ticket sales.
