During December and the first two months of ’66, The Beatles’ Rubber Soul album spent eight weeks at No.1 in the UK and six weeks at No.1 in the US, and was still in the US Top 20 when the group returned to Abbey Road studios in April ’66 to begin recording material for their next new album. Best song on this album is THE NINE YARDS. His flow is so smooth on album. But especially on that song. Zooted, Studs, and Bumpin are some other favorites. The song, "Lil' Somethin for The Summer" is self explanatory. I love that song. Ive been listening to this album since I have not gotten tired of it. This was a masterpiece/5(26).

The 7-song EP contains some of the band’s finest material, but it’s not technically an album. Still, we’re going to count it as one. A further impasse is the battle between ‘Surfer Rosa.

The original soundtrack to the hitman comedy The Whole Nine Yards features a surprisingly sophisticated collection of blues and jazz, including Mose Allison's deadpan "I Don't Worry About a Thing," the Up Top Orchestra's "Every Time I Hear That Mellow Saxophone," the Charlie Biddle Trio's "Autumn Leaves" and "They All Laughed," and Charles Mingus' "Moanin'."8/
