The title track, "Vilda mannu", is definately the best, the main riff being highly melodic and very catchy. Even though there are no more female vocals, the song loses no potential. The rest of the tracks are a good listen, "Coronach" being present on the band's next release, "Chaotic beauty".

Vilda Mánnu on suomalaisen metalliyhtye Eternal Tears of Sorrowin toinen pitkäsoitto, ja se julkaistiin vuonna Albumin nimikappale, Vilda Mánnu, on pohjoissaamen kieltä, ja tarkoittaa 'villiä kuuta'. Levyllä on myös toinen saamelaisperäinen kappaleen nimi, sillä Goashem (oikeastaan "goas'kem", nykypohjoissaameksi goaskin) on kantasaameen rekonstroitu muoto sanasta 'kotka'.

Vilda Mánnu is the second album by Finnish band Eternal Tears of Sorrow. It contains the band's first guest vocals (by Heli Luokkala, known from Nicepappi). It is also the last EToS album with their original line-up as one of the co-founders of the band, Olli-Pekka Törrö, left the band a few months after the release of this funbereterhirombbalyfistcomerpi.coinfo: Melodic death metal.

"Vilda Mannu" is a victim of the band's own success. Much like Blind Guardian 's "Twilight World" or Slayer 's "Haunting The Chapel." The band's other works seem to outshine this gem so badly that it is often overlooked.

The other track on the single was a re-recorded version of "Vilda Mánnu" from their second album. "Children of the Dark Waters" album charted at No. 19 at the Finnish Album Top 40 charts. The seventh album, "Saivon Lapsi", was released in February Mika Lammassaari left the band in and Risto Ruuth joined the band again.
